I know that my chances are not limited if I just apply myself. I can play poker just as well as any man can. I can work as hard as any man can. I am trying to find the future that is best for me and even though it is hard to find the right direction, knowing that I am a woman I can succeed. I do not depend on a man to take care of me. I believe that in society today relationships are 50/50. A woman can make the money in the household, a woman can pay for dinner, and a woman has every right to make crucial decisions. I believe a girl can go out and spoil a guy that she cares for just as much as the guy can. I know that with the way that my mother raised me I will be an outstanding woman in today's age. I respect myself as much as I do those around me. I look back and the past, I see the present, and I hope to be a part of an even more evolved future for women everywhere. -Cari L. O., PA
